They finished runners-up in 2018, and won the third place trophy in 2022, but were eliminated in the round of 16 stage in the last two European Championships. Croatia come into Euro 2024 after a strong qualifying campaign, and a recent friendly win over Portugal displayed their ability to beat the big teams. Don't forget that Euro 2024 could mark the final major tournament for soccer legend Luka Modric, so Croatia will be extra motivated to progress deep into the competition.
